Necromancy Spells
Necromancy in actual Magick is very different than what you see in media. Real Necromancy tends to focus on offerings and communication with relatives and other loved ones who have died. It can be as simple as making a shrine, dedicating an act to them, or visiting a graveyard. It can also involve using bones for divination. Real Necromancy does not attempt to re-animate the deceased.

Post Necromancy Cleansing Spells
These are to be performed once you're done working with Spirits. Select one method below, try not to perform all of them at once. Over-cleansing is a thing!
- Scrub yourself with salt in a bath
- Make a paste using salt and Blessed/Holy Water, and cleanse yourself with it
- Make a paste with olive oil and salt, and scrub your body
- Make a paste with olive oil, salt, and fresh rosemary leaves, and scrub your body
To Have Dreams of the Deceased
You will need: a white candle, a picture of the deceased, and a pentagram
Light the candle and gaze into the flame. Meditate on the memory of the one you wish to see in your dream. When you are ready, hold the picture at eye level and recite the following:
You are gone forever,
But through this spell,
My dreams to which you will come.
Place the picture under your pillow. Let the candle burn to a stub then blow it out and allow it to cool. Place the hardened candle under your pillow as well.
Sleep with these under your pillow for 3 nights.
To See Spirits
This spell is performed at a cemetary.
You will need: aloe, pepper, musk, vervain, and saffron
Mix these ingredients together and burn them in a cemetary at 11AM (make sure to check that this is allowed at your specific location; it usually is allowed). Establish a Circle of Protection. Recite the following while the incense is burning:
Guardians of the Spirit Realm,
Hear and guide my plea.
When the witching hour rings true,
Bring my friend (loved one, spirit, etc.) [Name] to me.
Other souls who hear my call,
Are not welcome in this place.
Only the one known as [Name],
May enter my sacred space.
Repeat this request 3 times, 20 minutes apart. Wait quietly for indications of a presence. Once you feel sure the Spirit is with you, do what you intend to do with the Spirit. When you're finished say farewell and release your Circle of Protection.
